Business Development Manager - Sydney (perm)

This position is responsible for positively impacting client and prospective client accounts to create new business growth and manage client relationships.

The following capabilities are expected:

  • gaining a thorough understanding of the client/prospect’s business and the industry, as well as the corresponding technology and business initiatives, to identifying needs which their solutions can help resolve;
  • developing compelling business value proposals for the solutions and ultimately closing business;
  • developing and maintaining trusted relationships with C-suite and senior level decision makers, and other key buyers and influencers within your assigned accounts;
  • collaborating with vendor partners, who work with us to develop business opportunities.

You will also need to:

  • manage and optimise the overall customer experience, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers (both large and mid-sized organisations);
  • meet or exceed performance objectives;
  • demonstrate effective time management in observing all the disciplines of the role;
  • follow the sales methodologies in territory management, account development and opportunity management;
  • coordinate sales initiatives which typically require a team-selling approach involving our management, product and consulting specialists and software vendors;
  • have strong prospecting capabilities
  • demonstrate increasing proficiency and skill as we train and assist him/her to develop  knowledge of our business and industry and the solutions we provide;
  • become a valued member of our national sales team and of our dynamic team, which comprises consulting, sales and admin resources.

Functional Business Architect - Sydney (Contract)

We are after a Functional Business Architect to develop business architecture solutions and lead a team of functional BA's.

This role requires:

  • Understand current state of architecture to build maps that define the future requirements
  • Ensure the architecture references including principles , policies, standards , roadmaps, frameworks , patterns and methodologies are in place and maintained.
  • Work with the relevant teams to structure & maximise the value they are able to derive from the business solution architectural services provided. This includes aligning business with technology strategies, advocating the values of Enterprise Architecture and undertaking business capability shaping with business stakeholders.
  • Consult with and advise the business units in relation to business opportunities and align with industry best practise with capabilities to address business initiatives.
  • Advocate for the business within technology, communicating strategies and priorities to help promote alignment between technology and business strategy
  • Shape commercial solutions for business initiatives during the idea and concept phases and providing input and guidance to business case submissions .
  • Adopting a business & systems perspective, assessing and balancing vast amounts of diverse information on the varied processes, systems and sub-systems that comprise and affect the working environment.
  • Working with Enterprise Architect and Application/ Solution Architect to align business needs with system/ package functions and target process design to meet business requirements.

Skills and experiience required:

  • Strong Team leadership with SAP and Business Architecture experience essential. 
  • ERP and Utilities Billing business design and implementation experience also required.
  • Experience in a large, complex, matrix style organisation.
  • Flexible, collaborative, team based approach.

Business Data Manager - EAM. Sydney (Contract)

Working as part of a EAM Program implementation team in a government department this role is responsible for:

  • establishing, developing and introducing a Data Governance Structure
  • develop and introduce processes and controls and oversee all aspects of data creation and migration
  • establish a data migration strategy
  • establish plans to detail data modelling decisions and data migration activities
  • provide independednt, anaytical, and stretegic data anaylsys, leadership and advice
  • own and direct the analysis of master data and transactional data requirements
  • plan the activities and lead, manage and provide direction to the business data team
  • stakeholder management of a large number of complex groups

Skills and experiience required:

  • experience in establishing and managing business governance structure and processes
  • experience in establishing data migration strategy
  • experience in managing and delivery of large scale, complex, multi discipline data projects
  • experiec ne in large ERP / EAM implementation involving significant data creation and migration activities, with a strong preference for SAP
  • experience with ETL processes
  • experience in large data environments - Enterprise Asset Management , ERP
  • proficiant in master data management (MDM) projects and solutions
  • knowledge of data modelling, clensing and docvumentation tools, with ARIS highly regarded.

Technology Manager/Program Manager - EAM/SAP. Sydney (Contract)

Working as part of a EAM Program implementation team in a government department this role is responsible for:

  • Planning and planning program deliverables and activities for the following streams: 
  1. Integration
  2. Legacy system decomissioning and archiving
  3. Environment planning
  4. Testing
  • Developing processes and controls 
  • Develop the EAM testing strategy
  • Develop the decomissioning and archiving strategy
  • Develop the configuration management plan and processes
  • Align key stakeholder operational assurance requirements and mamage large complex stakeholder groups

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in the manangement and delivery of large complex, muylti discipline technical projects withing a highly commericalised and improveent focussed environment
  • Experience in scoping and executing technical activities
  • Experiience in establishing integration strategy and implementation plans in a SAP project/program
  • Prior expericne in large, complex, implementation programs for SAP EAM or ERP

Communications Specialist - Sydney (Contract)

The role of the Comms Specialist is generate a communication strategy for an HR system implementation within a government department.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop and manage the Communication Strategy and Plans
  • Design and develop the communication products and materials as outlined in the Communication Strategy and defined in the Communication Plan for HR System Implementation Phase 1
  • Assist the Change Manager in the technical deployment of these products to the business. This includes activities associated with the Change Network and Divisional information sessions
  • Track and monitor stakeholder feedback from the HR System Site Page
  • Direct liaison point and collaboration 
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within IT, HR and the Business.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or business with experience in applying Communication strategies
  • Proficient use of IT software.
  • Experience in the change & communication management elements of deploying complex systems.
  • Experience of working on large implementation projects, preferably HR system implementation.
  • Preference for knowledge and experience in a government department
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of an organisation. 
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of their work and knows how to make things happen
  • Ability to listen, negotiate and motivate.
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach.
