Change Manager - Sydney (Perm)

The role of Organisational Change Management (OCM) Manager is to lead the OCM practice and resources to achieve quality outcomes, staff utilisation and OCM capability development. Additionally support the development of high value business outcomes, in line with the IT strategy, that are useable, agile and simple.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead and mentor team members in OCM best practices and maintain exciting OCM capabilities, tools and methodologies
  • Ensure that the change management outcomes are aligned with program outcomes.  Participate in project reviews/audits as required.
  • Manage the OCM resources are assigned to appropriate projects and tasks to meet the project needs and portfolio priorities.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within IT, the Business and external vendors.
  • Promote and expand the role of OCM, demonstrating the value of the OCM team.
  • Provide leadership, staff development, team business plans, delegate work and tasks to ensure outcomes are delivered.
  • Ensure systems of work and processes are effective and the structure of the team supports the work to be done.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the OCM.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the business, stakeholders and vendors.

Skills and experience required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or business with experience in applying Organisational Change management practices and leading a team of Change practitioners.
  • Proficient use of IT Project scheduling packages, Risk and Issue management software.
  • Experience in leading a team in the change management elements of deploying complex systems or projects.
  • Experience in practice leadership involving the development and implementation of best practice OCM methodology and competency initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge of OCM techniques, tools, and practices, and the proven ability to develop training and educational programs in OCM.
  • Ability to think strategically from an OCM perspective and deliver on the strategy.
  • Experience in contributing to and promoting the OCM practice

Data Architect - Sydney (contract)

This role is responsible for data analysis and modelling, database design, development, implementation, tuning and maintenance activities. The role also involved integration of COTS solutions into existing and new IT systems.

The key areas of work includes:

  • Assisting in the SDLC and integration of 3rd party COTS software products with  IT Systems,
  • To have an end-to-end vision and to translate a logical design into a physical database,
  • Lead a team and direct the work of others, if and when required,
  • Address issues of data migration and data integration associated with application integration and maintain data dictionaries,
  • Database design, development and maintenance activities.

The candidate is to possess:

  • Significant IT industry experience including at least 3 years' experience in a data architecture role,
  • A proven track record in a successful data architecture and/or DBA role in a medium or large sized, reasonably complex application environment,
  • The ability to convert legacy applications into newer applications using varied technologies, and providing data models to cope with low to very large data holdings,
  • Experience in mixed environments, with specific experience in moving from 'in-house developed' tools and database systems to mainstream packaged solutions including Business Intelligence applications, CRM solutions, case management and workflow,
  • Experience with Oracle10g/11g, SQL database technologies such as PL/SQL, and exposure to VLDB and data warehousing techniques and methodologies,
  • Experience in Business Intelligence applications, with exposure to ETL processes, data warehouse data modelling including awareness of Cubes and associated technologies.
  • Experience in a broad range of technologies and standards, such as Java (ADF, JSP/JSF, JPA hibernate), , XML, XSD, Web services, SOA design principles, Agile.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving abilities.

Business Analyst - BI/DW. Sydney (Perm)

A leading supplier of software applications to the health industry is looking for a Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse BA to join their development team. This is a newly created role reporting to Development Manager, liaising with external BI/DW consultant. The focus will be on getting Phase 1 of a new data warehouse finished, and drive requirements, delivery, and adoption of subsequent phases for additional data sources/uses

Skills and experience required:

  • Business focussed role, with technical skills preferred in SSRS, SSAS, SQL Server, SSIS - designing, building and maintaining enterprise reports, ad hoc queries, cubes
  • Solid experience in data definition/analysis for operational and strategic uses
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well within a small team, or independently, to tight deadlines
  • Ability to perform under pressure using the appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Potential to assist with wider product/project management in MS CRM, tele-radiology workflows.

Desirable Skill/Experience

  • Workflow analysis/optimisation projects
  • Experience with a range of reporting/analysis tools, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Qlikview etc
  • Technical experience in these tools are nice to have but you must have a thorough understanding of their rolls and capabilities. 
  • Ability to create and alter reports and understand queries, ETL.
  • Some experience with TFS,

A leading supplier of software applications to the health industry is looking for an experienced C# .Net Developer to join their small development team. The business moves at a fast pace working with bespoke critical applications and is experiencing continued growth hence the need to increase their development team.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrable development experience in .NET, Winforms, C#, WCF, Windows Services, and Web Services, to agreed standards and design guidelines
  • Experience in SQL/Server database scripting, design, tuning and optimisation
  • Experience in SSRS designing, building and maintaining enterprise reports
  • Strong (Web) Services Experience [Nancy preferred]
  • Strong Entity Framework 5+
  • Integration Experience - supporting a complex workflow process between multiple systems

  • Have exposure to formal development methodologies and processes, version control, change management

  • Exposure to ITIL standards and processes
  • Understanding of ISO27001 Information Security standards
